Freddie Manseau earned his M A in Fine Art, specializing in drawing and painting, and a B A in General Art, both from California State University, Long Beach. He holds an instructor's life time teaching credential for art and related technologies at the college level, and has been an adjunct professor with Emeritus, instructing watercolor courses at both the beginning and intermediate level for 30 years to date, as well as additional watercolor courses and drawing, with the Continuing Education Program of Santa Monica College.In addition to instructing art, he has created commissioned paintings, promotional art work related to Disney, cartooning, prototype and product development art, and illustrations for mass production. His paintings are in private collections locally and abroad, and works from his home studio in Santa Monica California. His work is representational in the form of landscape, seascapes, portraits etc., and is inspired greatly by Winslow Homer and John Singer Sargent.
