Brandon Millan is a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and adjunct professor at Santa Monica College. He has published on a range of issues related to democratization, international politics, and human capital flight with recent journal publications having appeared in Taiwan Journal of Democracy, Critical Asian Studies and American Journal of Chinese Studies.

Mr. Millan's record of public service include positions on the West Hollywood Public Facilities Commission (serving as vice chair from 2018 to 2019), Greening West Hollywood Standing Committee and Ventura County Air Pollution Control District Advisory Committee. He is a delegate to the California Democratic Party and serves on the Pepperdine Alumni Leadership Council.

Mr. Millan received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Pepperdine University and his master’s degree from National Chengchi University at Taipei. He studied as a Huayu Scholar at National Taiwan University before being awarded the Taiwan Scholarship. In 2017, Mr. Millan was honored by his alma mater as the Seaver College Young Alumni Awardee.
