Professor Morris received a B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Belgrade, Serbia. For ten years, she taught high school philosophy courses. In 2004, she earned an M.A. in philosophy at CSU Los Angeles and soon began to teach various philosophy classes: Introduction to Philosophy, Critical Thinking, Logic, Ethics, Human Values, and Humanities and the Social Sciences. Currently, Professor Morris teaches at four colleges: College of the Canyons, Glendale Community College, Pasadena City College, and Santa Monica College.

In addition to working as a philosophy instructor, she has been teaching Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian language classes at the Beverly Hills Lingual Institute and Pasadena Language Center since 2009. Professor Morris welcomes diversity in all its forms and brings an international perspective to her work.

Teaching Philosophy/Equity Statement

Professor Morris teaches her classes with an open mind, understanding, acceptance, and respect. She is patient and willing to explain complex concepts as many times as needed. Providing a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere where students feel encouraged to express themselves is her main goal.
