Hannah is a fine art photographer from Boston, MA. She received her BA in Studio Art from Dartmouth College, after which she worked at various photo labs in New York City. She has freelanced in post-production and fine arts printing in NYC and San Francisco, where she earned her MFA from California College of the Arts. After studying and then teaching in San Francisco, she returned to Dartmouth College as the inaugural recipient of their Photography Fellowship. She spent two years teaching undergraduate courses and workshops, as well developing and exhibiting multiple personal projects while in residence at the college. Her work explores issues of identity through the use of landscape, portraiture and still life. She shoots primarily in large format (4x5) and enjoys working with a combination of digital and darkroom processes. Hannah recently moved to Los Angeles and joined the full time faculty at Santa Monica College’s Photography Department in 2019.
