My name is Gabriel Guzman, but I go by Guz. I’m a creative storyteller who specializes
in audio for film and television. After studying my past to find out where my love
for storytelling began, I realized that it’s been scattered heavily in all of the
meaningful memories of my childhood. The biggest influence as a kid was my father
because he knew how to command the attention of the audience and convey emotion, conflict,
and imagery in the stories and jokes he told. I also noticed how I’ve allowed myself
to be drawn toward the art by putting myself in all the right situations to learn
and grow. Slowly and slowly I started to develop my skills and knowledge, but once
I was introduced to sound design for film I immediately knew that it was what I wanted
to master.
