    I loved the experience of networking with other STEM students. STEM tutor program was also very helpful with STEM counseling.

    What is it like to now work in your field?

    I'm currently working as a software engineer. It is interesting how I can use my knowledge to create products solving real life problems. Not only I think about how I can solve the problem, I need to look at the currently situation and identify what can be improved. I feel satisfied when I see I contribute to people's life with my code.

    Any advice?

    Not only prepare for transfer but also start prepare your career as soon as possible. For software engineer, there is various field. Try out personal projects like making your own personal website, small application, and useful tool to solve daily life problems. Also, practice leetcode for interviews.

    Any STEM Shortcuts/hacks you can share? 

    Find mentors who has gone through similar experiences.

    If you had to give advice to yourself when you first started at SMC, what would you say? 

    Find a good mentor, plan your career, and take each small steps. Don't be nervous, have confidence, and enjoy the process.

    Outside of STEM and related activities, what do you enjoy doing? 

    Recently started playing tennis.
