Before attending SMC, I was a very shy teen who would have a hard time talking to others, then when attending SMC, I have meet new people and it has opened me up to want to be more involved.
SMC has helped me narrow what I to major in and the possibility of the career I would like to pursue for a long time. I would like to work in education and most like become a teacher.
SMC helped me want to be more involved with the community that I am in and knowing that I am not alone on the journey of my education that I deserve.
I just want to give a shout-out to Phillip Lantz who would listen to my stories of when I have gotten stressed out, making sure that I am on the right track, and got on my case to seek tutoring.
