What is it like to now work as a software engineer in your field?
As a software engineer it is very rewarding. Working in corporate can be a bit political. I love solving real world problems and working on commercial airlines/aircraft is almost like a public service.
Any advice to an aspiring engineer?
Keep Going.
Any STEM Shortcuts/hacks you can share?
Shortcuts are few and far between. Give your best despite the circumstances and it will pay off.
If you had to give advice to yourself when you first started at SMC, what would you
say?
More networking, more focus, less frivolities.
Outside of STEM and related activities, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy bushwhacking with my dog in the forest or simply enjoying sights.
