SMC helped to build my foundations in Filmmaking and it gave me the opportunity to try out different things without placing myself in debt early on in my pursuit of a career within visual storytelling.
A word of advice; Join a club and stick with it! My core group of friends in LA started with Film Club. It's a great way to meet people. Don't be shy, just go for it! Be involved! Make the best of your time at SMC!
