I started SMC really nervous and scared. However, SMC provided the resources I needed to really grow as a person, and as a student. Now, I'm the first person in my family to go to a four year school.
With the help of the amazing counselors and professors, I was able to figure out what I wanted to specialize in, and ultimately what kind of career I wish to have after college.
Don't be afraid to take advantage of all the resources around you, whether it's tutoring, counseling, or other services. Getting involved makes your experience at SMC so much better!!!
