SMC Malibu Campus

PCH has reopened to all drivers with a 25 mph speed limit. There is still construction in many areas. Please allow extra time to get to and from the Malibu Campus via PCH.

The Metro 134 bus line gives access to the SMC Malibu campus with pick up locations in Santa Monica at: 5^th St and Colorado and Ocean Ave & Colorado. Drop off in Malibu at Civic Ctr/ Malibu Library stop.

Since its opening over two years ago, SMC Malibu has been offering enrichment classes to adult learners over 55, as well as for-credit college courses for traditional students ages 18-25. At SMC Malibu, we see a unique phenomenon where generations of learners are coming together for the sole purpose of pursuing new knowledge. Whether it is in preparation for college-level courses, or an enrichment class to fortify body and mind, SMC Malibu has a variety of classes for what you need to keep up with the world. SMC regularly offers Credit and Emeritus classes as well as occasionally Community Education and Non-Credit classes at the Malibu Campus. Located in the heart of Malibu, we are next to the Malibu Library and just around the corner from Malibu Country Mart.

Concurrent Enrollment

Imagine diving into college while you are still in high school. Concurrent enrollment allows high school students to take college classes and graduate high school with college credits under their belt. Take advantage of it and get a head start!
