Careers for Good is a one-day conference designed to introduce college students to values-driven career pathways.
While many students want careers that create positive social and environmental impact, they often don't know where to begin—and many have never heard of B Corporations.
The event connects students with mission-driven employers, including B Corporations, nonprofits, and other purpose-led organizations through keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities. It also aims to strengthen long-term partnerships between Santa Monica College and organizations committed to using business as a force for good.
As a pilot event, Careers for Good is intended to serve as a model that can be replicated by colleges across Los Angeles to help prepare the next generation of values-driven professionals.
