For the fall semester, Santa Monica College is offering online, hybrid, and on-ground classes. Most special programs and student support services will be offered online and on-ground during fall 2022. SMC’s COVID-19 vaccination and mask requirements to attend on-ground classes or access campus services in person are listed at for the latest details.

Note: You must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination if you are attending on-ground classes or accessing campus services in-person this summer session.

  • If you are enrolled only in online classes and will not visit campus, you do not need to submit proof at this time.

Take a shortcut to becoming an SMC student!

Our Welcome Center offers new students assistance with enrollment, orientation, financial aid, and more. The Welcome Center, located in Student Services Center S110, is providing services online and on-ground. See for details.

Free Parking & Shuttle Service

You can park for free (with a free virtual parking permit) in any SMC parking lot, and ride the Big Blue Bus to other campuses. Visit for the most current parking and transit information.
