Vacation & Sick Time Benefits

 

Santa Monica Community College District offers sick leave and vacation days to various employee groups.

Sick Leave

All employees are eligible for sick leave: full-time faculty, part-time faculty, permanent classified, permanent confidential employees, permanent classified managers, academic administrators, project managers, police officers, student workers, and temporary employees. The amount of sick leave is determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreements or district policies.

Vacation Days

The following types of full-time and part-time employees are eligible for vacation days: permanent classified employees, permanent confidential employees, permanent classified managers, academic administrators, project managers, and police officers. The amount of vacation days is determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreements or district policies.
