Gave me a chance at a new life after retirement to be involved in a community of people interested in learning ,sharing life experiences and giving back.

Keep learning, stay positive ,active and enjoy your journey.
How would your advice to your 50-year-old self differ?
About the same maybe take care of your health. Exercise and connect with family , friends and your spiritual side.Stay involved.
What are some of your biggest accomplishments in life?
Being a mother, wife and professional. Those are the things I am proudest of however being a caring involved active person volunteering for charitable causes and curious about life outside of my profession is very rewarding.
The SMC Emeritus Program has helped me as a lifelong learner because the opportunity was there for me to take advantage of this program and participate in many different areas that I did not have time before retirement.
The best part about being an SMC Emeritus student is I feel connected and a member of a community of peers to continue learning and sharing my golden years.
