I was a professor starting in the 1970's.
What was your occupation prior to retirement?
College Professor.
What was your highest level of education?
Earned College Bachelor Degree.
What are the top reasons why you value the SMC Emeritus Program?
- I know how many seniors it has helped over the years & also I was there when the Emeritus college was started.
Pearls of Wisdom: What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
- Don't be neurotic over grades.
What are some of your biggest accomplishments in life?
- Help set up various programs at SMC & I'm still in touch with students I taught 50
years ago.
(Emeritus not included in this group but some Emeritus students that I have met in the last 20 years are my good friends)
The SMC Emeritus Program has helped me as a lifelong learner because I was exposed to many senior citizens who gave me wonderful advice that I took.
