Virtual Computer Lab
The SMC Virtual Computer Lab is a service that lets SMC students in certain classes access real SMC specialized computer labs over the Internet. You must be enrolled in an appropriate class for the current semester in progress. You cannot log on before the semester starts.

Installing software to use the Virtual Computer Lab
Access to the Virtual Computer Lab is by using software called Citrix Workspace.

This video is for Windows, but the other operating systems work about the same way.
Download and install Citrix Workspace for your operating system:
Start Citrix Workspace on your device.
It may take a minute to start.
Use the lab "desktop" or "app" that your instructor tells you to.
If you don't see what you need, click on the Settings icon (it looks like a wheel or gear) and select "Refresh Apps".
Special Instructions for Modern Language Classes
SANSSpace (used in previous semesters) is no longer available.
- Log into your Citrix WorkSpace
- Navigate to the “Apps” tab at the top
- Follow the instructions given by your instructor.
