The Office of Institutional Research began hosting research roundtable discussions in Spring 2013. Roundtable events are one hour in length and include a 15 minute summary presentation and 45 minute in-depth discussion focused on a research article, including studies published by the Research and Planning Group of California (RP Group), the Community College Research Center (CCRC), and reports produced by the Santa Monica College Office of Institutional Research. The entire SMC community (including students) is invited to participate in research roundtable discussions.
