SMC's Distinguished Scientists Lecture Series continues this spring with Peter Galie an associate professor of Biomedical Engineering at Rowan University. Prior to joining Rowan, Dr. Galie served as a postdoctoral researcher in the Physiology department at the University of Pennsylvania. His primary area of expertise is the fabrication of three-dimensional vascular models that both investigate the contribution of hemodynamic factors to pathology and form the basis of vascularized scaffolds for regenerative applications. Currently, his work is supported by the American Heart Association and the National Science Foundation
