Chess Club

The Chess Club at SMC vows to provide a home for all interested in chess, regardless of proficiency or background. Its purpose is to strengthen the play of its members and the shape of their character by promoting discipline and fraternity.

Adelante Club

To advocate self-awareness within the Latino and Latina community by promoting student relations through the utilization of social, cultural, and academic resources.

Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society

The purpose of the chapter shall be to foster, promote, maintain, and recognize scholarship among the diverse student body at Santa Monica College; to develop activities offering multicultural, academic, social, or enrichment experiences; to promote service to the college and community; to emphasize the development of leadership, character, judgment, respect and care for others, and the environment.

Anthropology Club

Anthropology Club at SMC, committed to learning about different cultures and histories throughout human existence, will delve into all subfields of anthropology: cultural, physical/biological, linguistic, and archaeological. We are dedicated to fostering curiosity, stimulate discussions, and learning.

Barber Club

Through service and outreach, we will enhance the visibility of our department by fostering community engagement, supporting professional development, and cultivating leadership.

Business Club

The purpose of the organization shall be to help students gain knowledge and skills in business and provide opportunities to apply concepts from college courses to real-world scenarios. The club aims to support students in learning how to start and run their own businesses.
