The online application requires you to submit:
- Unofficial college transcripts from all the institutions attended
(You will need to obtain unofficial transcripts from the colleges and universities
you have attended before and upload them as a part of your application. If your application
is accepted into the program we will ask you to arrange for the official transcripts
to be sent 90 days prior to the start of your first semester at the Cloud program)
If you have only attended Santa Monica College, you may skip this step:
- Copies of any relevant Cloud certifications you have earned
- Two personal statements
These questions will give you an opportunity to share your perspective on cloud, your
passions and interests, and your career aspirations. There are no wrong answers! We
are looking for authenticity and sincerity.

- Describe how you have taken advantage of a significant opportunity or worked to overcome
a barrier you have faced.
- Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you took to overcome
this challenge. How has this challenge effected your path in life?
- Think of an academic subject that interests and inspires you. Describe how you have
furthered this interest over time?
- Beyond what you have already shared in your application, what do you believe makes
you a strong candidate for admissions to the Cloud Program at Santa Monica College
