Cloud Computing Bachelor Degree Program

• Meet the minimum requirements

• Complete minimum of 60 transferable semester units 
• Complete CS 79A, CS 79B, CS 79C and CS 79D
• Complete ENGL C1000 (English Composition) or an approved articulated equivalent from another institution
• Complete Critical Thinking or Oral Communications by completing one of the following: BUS 32, COM ST 12, COM ST 16, COM ST 21, COMM C1000 (fomermly COM ST 11), ENGL C1001 (fomerly English 2), ENGL 31, HIST 47 or PHILOS 7 or an approved articulated equivalent from another institution
• Complete STAT C1000 (formerly MATH 54) or higher level college mathematics course or an approved equivalent from another institution
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0

An Associates Degree is not required.

Students are strongly encouraged to meet with a Cloud Computing Counselor to review transcripts from Santa Monica College and all previously attend colleges and universities to confirm eligibility before applying. 

Students who have earned AP exam scores of 3 or higher or completed approved articulated equivalent coursework at another institution should meet with a Cloud Computing Counselor to verify that these courses satisfy the program's admissions requirements.

The online application requires you to submit:

• Unofficial college transcripts from all the institutions attended
  (You will need to obtain unofficial transcripts from the colleges and universities you have attended before and upload them as a part of your application. If your application is accepted into the program we will ask you to arrange for the official transcripts to be sent 90 days prior to the start of your first semester at the Cloud program)

If you have only attended Santa Monica College, you may skip this step:

• Copies of any relevant Cloud certifications you have earned
• Two personal statements
  These questions will give you an opportunity to share your perspective on cloud, your passions and interests, and your career aspirations. There are no wrong answers! We are looking for authenticity and sincerity.
