In addition to its many certificates and Associate degrees, Santa Monica College offers a fully accredited program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Interaction Design (IxD), and will launch a new program in 2027 leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Cloud Computing. Santa Monica College was a pioneer in 2016 when it launched one of the first four-year baccalaureate programs at a California Community College.

Each of the rigorous four-year programs has been developed with leading industry partners to prepare you to enter and succeed in innovative, rapidly growing fields.
Each of SMC's degree programs is fully accredited by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors and the Accrediting Commission of Community and Junior Colleges.
For California residents, a Bachelor’s degree from SMC is around $10,000 to $11,000 (minus financial aid) for the four-year program, making it one of the most affordable four-year options available in the region.
