Description: This workshop aims to empower folks by building a deeper relationship with themselves.
It focuses on self-defense through building awareness and intuition as well as learning
how to apply physical strategies of self-defense, all as forms of self-care. Participants
will learn these skills through discussions, games, and techniques. No martial arts
background is required.

Description: This workshop aims to empower folks by assisting them with connecting or re-connecting
to community. We will focus on building communication that asserts our needs and wants,
create dialogue around healthy relationships and lastly how to find different sources
of emotional, mental and spiritual support. Physical strategies from our first session
will be reviewed briefly and we will demonstrate and practice additional physical
ESD techniques. Participants will learn these skills through discussions, games, and
techniques. No martial arts background is required.
