This is Earth Week, and SMC in Focus is proud to present two stories that illustrate Santa Monica College’s commitment to sustainability: the free noncredit sustainability certificates & the Organic Learning Garden which exists to help the SMC community learn how to grow their own food. Plus, NYT bestselling author Ana Reyes talks about how her Emeritus students helped her and we take a deep dive into SMC’s storied men’s volleyball program and the brand-new Malibu Campus (Open House this Saturday, April 22).
