Program Overview

What is MESA?

The Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program is an academic support program designed to assist students interested in pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) majors/careers.

The MESA program mission is to help students in STEM successfully complete their educational goal at SMC, transfer to ANY baccalaureate program, and/or enter the STEM workforce.

IMPORTANT APPLICATION UPDATE:

The application for the MESA program has not opened yet for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications will go live around the first week of August 2026.
