California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) is a public university established in 1965 and located on a 375-acre campus in California's southern San Joaquin Valley. As part of the California State University system, CSUB offers 39 bachelor's degrees, 17 master's programs, and a doctoral program in Educational Leadership. The university is organized into four schools: Arts and Humanities; Business and Public Administration; Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering; and Social Sciences and Education. Known for its commitment to student success, CSUB emphasizes hands-on learning, diversity, and community engagement.
