Birds, Bees, and Butterflies: The Secret Lives of Pollinators A Valentine's Day Learn and Nibble Event
Learn about birds, bees, butterflies, moths, bats, beetles, and how pesticides use and climate change affect these small, but mighty creatures. Discover which native plants work best for attracting and supporting pollinators, and how to support these pollinators in your own space. You will enjoy a festive reception designed to celebrate Valentine’s Day with delicious mocktails, Valentine-themed dessert bites, and photo opportunities! In addition, you will receive a blossom kit with a small plant too grow as a keepsake.

SMC Malibu's 2nd annual toy drive for the children of the Malibu Community Labor Exchange will be going on from November 6th through December 10th. Drop off locations for New, Unwrapped toys, sports equipment, or school supplies include the following campuses:

Photo Contest - How It Works
- Take a fun picture of you (and your friends) in costume at SMC Malibu using the Halloween Backdrops (or anywhere you want if you can't make it over to campus)
- Post your picture to your Instagram by MIDNIGHT October 31st and be sure to tag @malibu24_7 with your picture!
- 3-5 finalists will be posted to @malibu24_7 for public voting starting Monday, November 3rd and ending Wednesday, November 5th (be sure to share with your friends to get more votes)
- The winner will be announced on @malibu24_7 on Thursday, November 4th

"A Tale of Two Cities" Presented By: The City of Malibu & Malibu Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce
The next Santa Monica College Board of Trustees regular public meetings will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Multipurpose Room (Room 103 on the first floor), 23555 Civic Center Way, Malibu, next to the Malibu Library. Members of the public attending in person will be seated in the Multipurpose Room. The meeting will be held in-person and livestreamed.
