Steps to Apply
There are specialized instructions if you are applying as an international student. Please read each step carefully to expedite processing.
Apply to SMC
To begin the SMC application, you must first create an account. Once you have created an account, complete and submit your Santa Monica College admission application.
It takes 4-6 weeks to process international student applications. This does not include the process in your country to obtain your F-1 visa.
Sign up for Information Seminar
Once you are an SMC student, upon arrival to the U.S. you must attend the information seminar. You are required to sign up for the seminar as part of your admission process.
