Stellic Care

At Santa Monica College, support is built into your experience.

 

Stellic Care is SMC's new Early Alert system to support student success. Through Stellic Care, we are able to connect students with counselors, instructors, and campus resources in one place, making it easier for students to get the guidance they need, stay connected, and take their next steps with confidence. 

Students can use use Stellic Care to connect with additional support:

• Requests allow students connect with a particular service area or request information about a specific resource. New requests are frequently added, so be sure to check in regularly.
• Appointments can be used to schedule office hour appointments, if the instructor has enabled this feature.

Faculty can also use Stellic Care to communicate with their students using the following features:

• Kudos provide students with positive feedback and let students know when they are doing well. 

• Notes facilitate conversations between the student and the instructor. 

• Referrals are created by faculty and help connect students with a particular service area, such as tutoring or counseling. 

How to Access Stellic Care

You can login to Stellic Care by using the same information you use to log into Corsair Connect. You can find the login on the SMC.edu website under "Login" or at the button below.

Set Up Profile

1. To update your information, click on the circle with your initials in the top-right corner, and then click on "Settings".
2. Add a photo. This can be a picture of yourself, your pet, a landscape... anything that best represents you!

Remember to check in regularly to stay up-to-date on new features as they are added!
