Standard Benefits

Enrollment Fees: Class fees will be paid!
- An approximate value of $552 each full- term semester!

Student Fees: SMC ID card, A.S. membership, Student Representation and Health Fees will be paid!
- A maximum value of $60.50 a semester!

Fee Postponement: Fees will be postponed for the current semester and the following semester.
- Do not pay for your fees as long as you have a SMCP Fee Postponement. Check your status by login into your account: Welcome to Corsair Connect

Priority Enrollment: Enroll in your classes on the first day of enrollment for the following semester.
- The ability to select the best classes at the most convenient time for your personal schedule.

Refund: Get the money back you paid out of pocket!
- If you are eligible, paid out of pocket, then met the SMC Promise requirements at the deadline, you will potentially qualify of a refund.

SMC Promise Book Voucher

SMC Promise Book Voucher: Students who are eligible, meeting their SMC Promise requirements and ALSO receive a CCPG- Fee Waiver, via the financial aid process, will also qualify for a Book Voucher to be used ONLY at the SMC Bookstore.
- Formula: SMCP + CCPG= SMCP Book

Voucher $3,000 for Textbooks, materials and supplies a year!
- $1000 each Fall and Spring semesters
- $500 each Summer and Winter semesters
  - Summer and Winter semesters are optional to attend, must meet both requirements and also receive a CCPG- Fee Waiver to receive a SMCP Book Voucher.

Other Benefits

Reduced Parking Pass: Meeting the SMC Promise requirements AND receiving a CCPG- Fee Waiver, parking pass is only $18.
- You can purchase your pass by visiting edu/parking

SMC ID Card: Free SMC ID Card!
- Meeting the SMC Promise requirements, request to receive your free SMC ID card from the Cashier's Office:Cashier's Office - Santa Monica College
  - SMC ID Card will allow you to ride the Big Blue Bus for free and receive other discounts.

Metro TAP Card: Ride the Metro-Line for Free!
- Meeting your SMC Promise requirements, request your METRO TAP card: Cashier's Office - Santa Monica College
  - Do NOT opt-out of the $22.50 Student Benefits Fee. Doing so will prevent you from obtaining a METRO/GO TAP card and other benefits.
