Indigenous Scholars Club

The Indigenous Scholars Club aims to support students academically, intellectually, and spiritually with a specific focus and care for SMC’s Indigenous and Native American student population. Our purpose is to represent, as well continue to grow our Native student body while also acknowledging the history of colonialism in California and across Turtle Island. We welcome and encourage students from all backgrounds to engage in learning about decolonization, gentrification, and dispossession, as a part of our club mission and purpose.
