On May 6, 2020, the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) issued new Title IX regulations mandating how colleges and universities that receive federal funding must respond to sexual harassment and sexual assault under Title IX. On August 14, 2020, these new Title IX regulations went into effect. All College complaints, investigations, proceedings (including hearings), and determinations will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the new regulation, 34 Code of Regulations, Part 106.
