Learning-Aligned Employment Program

Learning Aligned Employment Program (LAEP) Student Employment

LAEP student employment is employment funded through the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) and is connected to financial aid. Students who meet eligibility requirements can earn money in part-time jobs that are related to their field of study. Students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 units) to be eligible.

Students under LAEP student employment can work:

  • 19 hours maximum per week for fall and spring.

Student Eligibility

  • Be classified as a California resident.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States.
