Hear from Marcia Hanscom, executive director of the Ballona Institute, discuss the plans to convert a natural gas-burning powerplant, that was scheduled to be shut down, into a hydrogen-burning plant eventually. Is it needed if LA can reach 100% clean power without it?

Exploring IMTA Aquaculture

Thursday, April 20, 3 - 4 p.m.

Aquaculture experts will discuss the benefits and challenges of raising finfish, shellfish and kelp or seaweed together in the ocean, to ensure benefit the environment and provide healthy protein from the ocean.
