How to Join
Our enrollment period for the spring 2026 semester will begin in January 2026! Please view our orientation schedule below.
Students may join the Black Collegians Program Umoja Community by doing the following:

Attend a Black Collegians Orientation Session (see below) during the winter 2026 or spring 2026 sessions. Please find the orientation schedule for the current session below.
- Complete and submit the Black Collegians program application and sign the program contract after attending an orientation session.

Meet with a Black Collegians counselor. At the end of your orientation session, you will be scheduled an appointment to meet with a Black Collegian Counselor for your intake session. During the intake appointment, the counselor will speak with you about the program, the requirements to remain an active member and the benefits of the program. Be prepared to answer a list routine questions during your intake session, which will assist the counselor in determining program acceptance decisions . After the counseling session, you will then receive an email to inform you of your program admission status.
