Transfer Admission Guarantee Requirements

1. To be admitted to Emerson College, SMC students must submit application materials for evaluation to the Emerson College Undergraduate Admission office by posted deadlines.

2. Except for programs that require a creative evaluation, Emerson College will admit SMC students who fulfill all of the following requirements:

   1. 3.0 cumulative GPA:

   2. Completed an Associate of Arts degree;

   3. Completed courses at SMC that align with Emerson's Liberal Arts curriculum (see Course Equivalence section)

3. Academic programs that require an artistic review:

   1. Comedic Arts (see Application Requirements section for additional details);

   2. Performing Arts (see Application Requirements section for additional details)

4. School of Film, Television and Media Arts - A creative sample is optional for the BA or BFA track at this time (see Application Requirements section for additional details)

5. SMC students who meet both the academic criteria and the creative standards required for admission by the Emerson College reviewers.

6. A student that meets the requirements above qualifies for Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG).
