We understand that these are stressful times and that attending school, working from home and socially isolating are hard! These resources are for students, faculty and staff and we encourage you to share them with friends and family.

Coping, Meditation, and Mindfulness Resources

  • Mental Health and Psychosocial Considerations During COVID-19 Outbreak

  • Coronavirus Sanity Guide: Meditation and psychological support. The resources include an informational podcast by leading psychologists.

  • Frantic World: Meditation and mindfulness website affiliated with Oxford University. It has several meditation courses as well as multiple free downloadable mediations.

  • UCLA Mindfulness Awareness Research Center offers a full complement of free mindfulness exercises from simple 3 minute meditations to 6 week online classes as well as weekly live podcasts.

  • Insight Timer - Meditation: Free access to the largest library of guided meditations on earth. There is something for everyone. Specially recommended is the Yoga Nidra sleep meditation by Hilary Jackendoff.

  • Stop Breath Think: This popular mindfulness site has a 5-minute approach to mindfulness as well as multiple free downloadable meditations.

  • Quiet Mind Cafe: Free meditation to help you fall asleep, it rolls into a longer meditation when the first one ends, in case you need a little more!

  • Psych Central: Resources including a special "Ask the Therapist" feature where you can send in your specific questions.

Free Support Resources

  • Anxiety Sisters: Anxiety specific resources for free including a red "panic button" you can click during a severe anxiety episode and a recording will talk you down.

  • Support Groups Central: Virtual Support Groups for numerous mental health conditions as well as free and low cost online therapy also available in Spanish.

  • TruLuv #SelfCare Game: This is a free game described as: A simple beautiful AI companion for joy and self-love. This is a game about self-care and the joy of staying in bed and caring for one's self.

  • Virtual Museum Tours: This site from Travel and Leisure magazine offers links to tours of museums around the world for free.

  • Warm Line: Telephone Support by trained peers.

  • Future Health: Offers free access to our depression, anxiety, and sleep deprivation documentaries during this difficult time.
