You may find your SMC Network Username by using the Username Lookup form. You will need to provide your first and last name, as well as your SMC Student ID number. If you do not know your student ID number, contact Admissions & Records for assistance. The Lab Support Desk cannot recover lost Student ID numbers.
Your SMC Network Username is everything before the "@" symbol in your SMC student email. For instance, if your SMC email is LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME@student.smc.edu, your SMC Network Username is LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME.

Before troubleshooting your device, reach out to the manufacturer for assistance. You may consider using a workstation at the Modern Languages Lab, located in Drescher Hall, Room 220. Note that the Language Lab Support Desk team is unable to diagnose or troubleshoot personal devices.

- If the issue persists, seek assistance from the Language Lab Support Desk team or Student IT Help.
To track your learning time and the number of completed lessons, click the name of the language you're learning (i.e., Spanish) on the upper left-hand side and then find the detailed information on the left-hand side.
Mango Languages automatically saves your progress as you use the platform. No action is required to save your work.
No, Mango Languages accounts are created automatically and provided for free to all SMC language students, each semester.
Unfortunately, we can only offer Mango Languages accounts to students who are currently enrolled in a language course.
Mango Languages accounts are only accessible during the current semester. Accounts will be closed after the semester concludes.
No, Mango Languages accounts are closed after each semester concludes. Even if you have used Mango Languages before, you must have a new account each semester; otherwise, you would not be assigned to your correct course section.
Yes, you may still use Mango Languages even if your instructor is not requiring it.
