Language Lab Credit

Students are not required to track Language Lab hours to earn Lab Credit.

Consult with your professor for guidance about lab usage and assignments.

Students have the option to track their time spent working on valid lab activities to earn Lab Credit. You can choose to manually record your hours or use a Green Sheet for logging your hours.

Lab Credit

Credit in the Language Lab is earned by completing valid lab activities. To earn credit, complete sessions lasting between 20 to 60 minutes each day. Sessions shorter than 20 minutes or longer than 60 minutes (the daily maximum) won't count towards credit. A session is a single continuous period of work; leaving during a session will end the current session. You can split your daily time across multiple sessions on the same day. Remember to actively work on valid activities throughout your session to earn credit.

For instance, if you work on Mango Languages from 9 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. (20 minutes), you'll receive 20 minutes of credit. However, if you only work from 9 a.m. to 9:10 a.m. (10 minutes), you won't earn credit.

Similarly, if you use VoiceThread and attend a Zoom lecture between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (totaling 3 hours), you'll receive the maximum credit of 60 minutes for the day.
