Coverage Summary

  • Department ambassadors serve as the primary accessibility/UDL resource for their department.
  • Floaters support departments without a direct ambassador by sharing resources, inviting faculty to labs and campus-wide sessions, and connecting faculty with accessibility/UDL Coaches as needed.
  • Coach-supported areas may receive additional guidance from the Digital Access Coach team for specialized questions.

Department Ambassadors are faculty representatives who support accessibility and UDL efforts within their departments by sharing resources, connecting colleagues with support, and participating in accessibility/UDL professional development.

Floaters support departments that do not currently have a direct department-based ambassador. They help share accessibility/UDL resources, invite faculty to labs and campus-wide sessions, and connect faculty with coaches or additional support as needed.

Accessibility/UDL Coaches

Accessibility/UDL Coaches provide guidance, shared resources, training, and consultation for ambassadors and faculty. Coaches may also support specialized department needs, campus-wide professional development, and hands-on accessibility labs.
