Hello SMC! My name is Subin Kang, and I am serving as a Director of Instructional Support for this school year.
I am a student from South Korea, currently exploring my academic journey at SMC. While I have not settled on a specific major or career path yet, I'm immersing myself in the various experiences and cultures here, shaping my plan for the future.
I took on this role to connect with and support students who have uncertainties and concerns about the future, specifically in classroom settings, to cultivate a school environment that really leaves no one behind. As your student leader responsible for instructional support, I handle a diverse range of inquiries and suggestions pertaining to school systems, academic issues, and technology, such as in the field of computers. I am committed to helping students navigate the challenges they encounter during their academic endeavors.
One fun fact about me is that I have pet tropical fish that all look the same. I call all of them 'Nemo'.
