Our goal is to authentically welcome, engage, and connect students with the tools and resources needed to empower them to achieve their goals. Through our outreach efforts, which includes support for high school students, out of state students, and transfer students from other colleges and universities, we facilitate a successful start to their first year college experience in an inclusive and equitable environment.
Our commitment to students is to ensure that they feel supported throughout the entire onboarding and enrollment process. We are dedicated to assisting students with completing the application and connecting students with resources and services that set their educational plan and journey for success.
Our pledge is to promote a level playing field for all new students to SMC, making their experience a positive and memorable one. We are honored to assist students in understanding why SMC is the best choice in higher learning and continuing education. And we are optimistic that every interaction we have with students will spark their desire to be a part of the SMC family for years to come.
